July 16th: Clicker Training Workshop Are you curious about clicker training? Do you want to know what a clicker is and how it can accelerate training? Then join SPCA CTC-certified trainer Kate S. Knight for a game-filled session on using a clicker. You'll come away with fun, effective, and salient tips on getting started with clicker training. Clicker training focuses on what your dog is doing right instead of wrong. The clicker makes a sound that precisely marks the behavior you want to see again. Because there's no emotion attached to the marker sound and the sound stays the same all the time, your dog doesn't have to engage in a lot of guess work.
